Gentle Yoga for Health classes are devoted to yoga and meditation with an emphasis on stress management. Basic yoga sequencing is practiced so you have the tools and skills needed to make yoga a routine. Accessible and simple meditation techniques are introduced to encourage a regular meditation practice to help you manage stress.
Our focus is also on nutrition and lifestyle changes based on each student’s individual goals peppered with some yoga to keep the momentum going. The group will encourage and support one another in reaching those goals through lively discussion and self-care planning, plus handouts will be given so you have reshaping resources at home. Fresh juices or smoothies served in every class! Optional: Take a trip to the supermarket with the group to learn about healthy shopping, and participate in additional walking sessions with a partner, other group members or instructors. SCHEDULE Thursdays 6:45 – 8:30 PM
