The One World Wellness approach to teaching yoga to young people is comprehensive, imaginative, and playful. Children love to learn yoga through posture practice, art, games and story. Childlight Yoga: Basic Training Level 1
This children's yoga teacher training program is designed to provide yoga and mindfulness practitioners with the tools and knowledge needed to share the gifts of yoga with children. Friday 6-9 PM, Saturday 9 AM-6 PM, Sunday 9 AM-4 PM WHERE One World Wellness & Yoga, 967 North High Street, East Haven CT 06512 ABOUT THE TRAINER Meg Durkin, MS, E-RYT, RCYT, is the founder of Yoga Magic 4 Kids, a licensed Yoga 4 Classroom trainer, ChildLight yoga trainer, and a certified health coach. Meg works with educators, parents and children believing it is important for children to start life habits of nutrition, stress reduction, movement and mindfulness at a young age. She has been teaching yoga since 2008 and is certified in ChildLight Yoga, Radiant Child Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child, and a Licensed Yoga 4 Classrooms Instructor. Training addresses teaching yoga to children ages 2-teens, with a focus on ages 2-12 yrs. |
