9:30 am Sunday sessions held though December. 18.
Each session lasts one hour and begins with 10 minutes or chanting, 20 minutes of sitting, followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation and then another 20 minutes of sitting. After a short break, participants are also invited to stay for another 25 minutes of optional bowing meditation, a vigorous moving meditation to condition the whole body.
All sessions offer an opportunity to look deeply into one's inner self. Choose from a few different techniques, which are discussed at the beginning of class, from mindfulness to meditative breathing.
** Please bring a favorite meditation cushion or seat. Cushions are also available at the studio.
You are welcome to bring a blanket, pillow, socks or slippers if desired.
