EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Through our educational programs, One World Wellness offers you ways to feel centered, grounded and peaceful in your body and mind. We lead classes and workshops in SunDo, a Taoist yoga & meditation practice from Korea, which harmonizes your breathing so it becomes deeper, fuller and smoother. For more info about this type of breathwork, please visit SunDo Practice.

SunDo beginner levels each have their own: posture set, breathing style and meditation techniques. Our educational programs teach the fundamentals of practice with instructor training offered at intermediate levels of study.

The Horizons programs help you understand how and why refining the breathing process results in abundant amounts of energy. Sustained SunDo breathwork can be done much more successfully, and more easily, during meditation. In SunDo Horizons programs, beginners acquire skills and knowledge needed to begin a meditation practice using their breath as a focus. It may also introduce the Taoist tradition of focused breathing meditation to more experienced practitioners.

Class & Workshop Facilitator
SunDo Horizons lets you experience the benefits of a Taoist practice class with a supportive guide and teacher. Christine Ucich has been practicing meditation for 25 years and teaching since 2004. She offers her students a way to explore meditation for personal practice and acts a mentor for those interested in teaching SunDo practice. Christine specializes in designing transformational workshops and retreats, co-leads retreats at the SunDo Retreat Center in Vermont and, in 2019, became its Director of Education & Training.
After experiencing first-hand the physical and emotional healing effects of meditation practice, Christine opened One World Wellness Studio in East Haven for those in need of a healing practice space.
