SunDo Breathwork Certification Program
Would you like to enhance your teaching skills by offering healing breathwork instruction to others? Our 2017 training program offers certification as a breathwork guide specializing in the breathing practice of SunDo. An equal blend of postures, meditation & breathwork, SunDo is a Taoist practice with postures similar to Hatha Yoga but with the breathing of Qi Gong. Postures are held in stillness or with very subtle movement. Awareness is focused on the breath as a form of mindfulness meditation.
Although our body is nourished by oxygen, life force energy is also part of the air we breathe in. Known as Qi or Prana, this energy is cultivated through Taoist breathwork practices. There are many ways in which students and clients benefit from learning these techniques such as regulating the breath to induce the relaxation response and reclaiming the ability to breathe fully and deeply.
Program participants will have an opportunity to develop their own breathing practice and acquire skills to teach SunDo breathwork in other settings.
